VIN Topic Rounds

The VIN Student Team has you covered with Tuesday Topic Rounds.  During the month of August, join Dr. Anne Katherman, DVM, MS, DACVIM (Neurology) for 30 minute, case-based sessions on Neurology every Tuesday at 12ET. Everyone and all levels of experience are welcome. There will be time for Q&A and discussion following. The next session is Pupillary Light Reflexes – The Window to the Brain on August 18, 2020 at 12 ET.

In this rounds you will learn:

  • How to get more information from PLR testing
  • Why it makes a difference where you shine the light in testing PLR
  • Localizing the lesion of an animal with abnormal PLR reflexes

In this rounds you will learn to: 

  • Characterize presentations of some of the more common etiologies of tremor in the dog and cat
  • Differentiate an intention tremor from other types of tremor
